The NCS is supported in part by grants from the
Amesbury, Georgetown, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, and West Newbury Cultural Councils,
local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Join the Newburyport Choral Society

Membership in the NCS is open to all. We accept new singers at the beginning of each concert season, generally the first two weeks of September and January. New members are asked to audition for proper voice placement, no advance preparation is required. NCS encourages area high school students to sing with us by waiving the registration fee.

Rehearsals are held at the Rupert Nock Middle School, 70 Low Street, Newburyport.

Fall Semester Registration begins on Labor Day. Spring registration begins the first Monday of January.
