  • Thursday, August 1, 2024 – “Know Your Community” Event at Newburyport Senior Community Center, 331 High Street, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come visit the NCS table at this informative community event, a part of Yankee Homecoming.  Tell your friends and family who might be interested in singing with us to come by and chat with us.
  • Friday, August 2, 2024 –Online Registration Begins for Fall Semester. New singers are always welcome and registration is easy! Go to www.newburyportchoralsociety.org in August and look for the information on Fall Semester 2024 registration. If you are a first-time NCS singer, or have questions about online registration, email Penny Lazarus at membership@newburyportchoralsociety.org.

  • Tuesday, September 10, 2024 @ 7:15 p.m.–First Rehearsal of the Fall Semester, Belleville Congregational Church, 300 High Street, Newburyport. No audition is required and you can try us out for 2 rehearsals at no charge! Each week singers experience the joy of music-making while learning singing tips from NCS Music Director Dr. Minji Kim.
  • Friday, November 8 – 17, 2024—Give Voice to NCS Fall Online Auction: Buy it for a Song! Shop our extensive array of products, experiences and services while you support vocal music in Newburyport. Check our website in October for details! 
  • Saturday, December 14, 2024 @ 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 15, 2024 @ 2:30 p.m. NCS Winter Concert—Luminous Night. Our 2024 Winter Concert features Ola Gjeilo’s Luminous Night of the Soul, two beautiful renditions of Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, and other carols and music of the holiday season.   • Saturday, May 3, 2025 @ 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m. NCS Spring Concert—Jubilate! This exciting tribute to the unifying and celebratory power of music culminates our NCS 90th Anniversary year. It features contemporary composer Dan Forrest’s magnificent Jubilate Deo, which expresses the theme of joy in seven different languages.
