2025 Spring Concert - Jubilate!

Jubilate! features Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo, a pan-global setting of Psalm 100, “O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands.” Each movement celebrates a different musical culture by setting this psalm in seven different languages while drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influences including liturgical Latin, intertwined Hebrew and Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Zulu, earth sounds, clapping and stomping. The result is a stunning global jubilee that will have everyone on their feet! Will you be the first to start dancing in the aisles? Performed with full orchestra, traditional Chinese instruments, hammered dulcimer, djembe, chimes and African vocal drumming.
